Description

Our client, within the hospitality industry, is in need for a Payroll Clerk to join their team on a contract basis! This is will be about a 3 month assignment, and may extend based on their needs. This is a great opportunity for someone who is looking to build on their experience, as well as open to learning a new industry. Ideally looking for someone who has handled processing payroll for over 200 employees, and someone who is flexible to help in other areas as needed.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately processing bi-weekly payroll for a large number of employees

• Assisting in recruitment initiatives as required

• Performing diverse payroll duties as needed

• Utilizing ADP Workforce Now for various tasks

• Monitoring employee accounts and taking necessary action

• Maintaining accurate records of customer credit

• Efficiently handling customer credit applications

• Resolving customer inquiries in a timely and detail-oriented manner

• Managing benefit functions efficiently and accurately.

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a Payroll Clerk role or similar

• Proficiency in accounting software systems

• Familiarity with ADP Workforce Now is a plus

• Understanding of general accounting functions

• Auditing skills are essential

• Ability to handle benefit functions

• Experience managing payroll for 101 - 500 employees

• Capability to process bi-weekly payroll

• Familiarity with biweekly payroll processing

• Proven track record of processing payroll effectively and efficiently
