**Compensation and Schedule for the Physician Insurance Collector**
Physician Insurance Collector – Full-time, work-from-home after training, $21-$22.50 per hour, Monday – Friday, 6:30am to 3:00pm OR 7:30am to 4:00pm after training. Join a friendly and fast-paced environment with great benefits!
**Required Qualifications of the Physician Insurance Collector**
- 3+ years of recent medical collections experience required
- AHCCCS experience highly preferred
- High school diploma or GED required
- Must successfully pass a criminal background check and drug screen
**Responsibilities of the Physician Insurance Collector**
- Work out of a work queue performing AR follow-up on insurance claims
- Work unresolved claims daily to avoid lost or reduced collection of revenue
- Approximately 40 claims worked per day, higher for straightforward AR resolution scenarios
- Handle specific types of denials and file requests for reconsideration or appeals as dictated by the denial
- Work all health plans from government to commercial plans for high dollar and high-volume clinics
