As an Assembly Mechanic Level 2 here at Honeywell, you will play a crucial role in the assembly and production of our cutting-edge products. You will be accountable for performing mechanical assembly tasks, ensuring the quality and reliability of the final product. Your attention to detail and technical expertise will contribute to the success of our manufacturing operations.
You will report directly to our Assembly Supervisor and you'll work out of our Phoenix, Arizona location.
In this role, you will impact the efficiency and productivity of our manufacturing operations by ensuring the accurate and timely assembly of our products. Your ability to follow assembly instructions and work collaboratively with the team will contribute to the delivery of high-quality products to our customers.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Perform mechanical assembly tasks according to specifications and instructions
• Inspect and test assembled products to ensure quality and functionality
• Troubleshoot and resolve assembly issues
• Work with cross-functional teams to improve assembly processes and efficiency
• Follow safety guidelines and maintain a clean and organized work area

YOU MUST HAVE
• 2+ years of experience in mechanical assembly or a related field
• Basic knowledge of mechanical assembly techniques and tools
• Ability to read and interpret assembly instructions and drawings
• Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity
WE VALUE
• High School Diploma or GED
• Technical certification or vocational training in mechanical assembly
• Experience working in a manufacturing environment
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing ethics
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Strong problem-solving skills
