Northrop Grumman Defense Systems sector (NGDS) is seeking a **Sr. Principal Military Trainer – Mission Command Systems Training Lead** to join our growing team of diverse professionals supporting the Army National Guard (ARNG) Mission Command Training Support Program (MCTSP) at **Gowen Field** near **Boise, Idaho** .
This position is contingent upon contract award, budget, and customer approval.
**Responsibilities:**
+ Supervises a team of Individual Computer Based Trainers and ensures that students receive world-class instruction in accordance with approved Programs of Instruction (POIs)
+ Provides reach-back to support for Individual Training staff at the spoke sites
+ Ensures all Mission Command Information Systems (MCIS) are loaded with the latest software version; also responsible for ensuring all individual training equipment is properly maintained and serviced
+ Manages the scheduling of courses, and the cross-training and professional development of the Team
+ Prepares MCIS briefing material for the supported Mission Command Training audience
+ Ensures the team is prepared to support various simulation exercises using WARSIM and other Simulation systems
+ Responsible for supporting various exercises with “over the shoulder” MCIS support
+ Is prepared to assist in the training of all supported classes
**Basic Qualifications:**
+ One of the following:
+ Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 10 years of MCIS teaching experience
+ Master’s degree with a minimum of 8 years of MCIS teaching experience
+ Minimum of 5 years Command Post Operations experience
+ Must possess an active U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) Secret security clearance
+ Must have extensive experience with performing and Training Development Analysis, writing Plans of Instruction and Technical Writing
+ Must have analytical subject matter expertise on the CPCE and Mission Command Information Systems (MCIS) Integration in support of Mission Command Training.
+ Must possess strong background with integration of various MCIS including CPCE, Advanced Field Artillery Tactical Data System (AFATDS), Air and Missile Defense Workstation (AMDWS), Tactical Airspace Integration System (TAIS), Global Command and Control System – Army (GCCS-A), Joint Automated Deep Operations Coordination System (JADOCS), Command Web, Tactical Messaging, WAVE and Joint Battle Command – Platform (JBC-P)
+ Must have a working knowledge of the following simulation systems used to support MCIS course instruction and exercise support, JLCCTC and DXTRS
+ May be required to obtain Network+ certification depending on Mission Command Information System expertise
+ Must be able to travel as needed (up to 25% of the time)
+ Must be able to work on-site at Gowen Field near Boise, Idaho

**Salary Range:** $84,500 - $126,700
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
