Course: Advanced Design Fundamentals

This course builds on design fundamentals by increasing students’ understanding of content development and production methods within the advertising design process. Students will create and produce advertising campaigns and products of various scope and size. Technology requirement: Students are responsible for providing their own laptop that is capable of running the Adobe Creative Cloud.

What You Will Do:

+ Facilitate classroom lecture and discussions while incorporating innovative teaching strategies

+ Engage students in cutting-edge technologies and industry trends

+ Assess student performance and mentor classroom success to prepare them for their chosen career path

+ Provide a positive example to students by supporting the University’s Doctrinal Statement, Ethical Position Statement and Mission of Grand Canyon University

What You Will Bring:

+ Minimum: Bachelors in Advertising or Bachelors in Graphic Design or Bachelors in Visual Communication or related area.

+ Preferred: Masters in Advertising or Masters in Graphic Design or Masters in Visual Communication or related area.

+ All instructors must have 3-5 years experience in the industry AND

+ Experience with advertising strategy development AND

+ Knowledge of current design & production software or design principles and production methods including motion graphics.
