**Description**
Waste Water Treatment Operator
Perform operations and maintenance duties on the company’s Process water collection and pre-treatment system. Including; monitoring facility’s discharge, operation of recovery system’s and maintaining equipment to insure compliance is met in accordance with the Industrial User Discharge Permit and other Regulatory requirements.
Responsibility
+ Performs daily monitoring of the plant functions which includes accessing the daily demands and making appropriate adjustments to meet those demands
+ Must meet and comply with the Industrial User Discharge Permit
+ Collects samples for onsite and offsite analysis
+ Operates, and maintains wastewater pre-treatment and #2 Tallow recovery operation
+ Promptly troubleshoot; process, instrumentation, data, and mechanical problems
+ Perform basic maintenance, repair, and calibration
+ Document and report needed system improvements
+ Develop and continuously update operational SOPs and readiness plans
+ Perform preventive maintenance as scheduled in the PM program
+ Records equipment meter readings, water meter readings, and operation log entries
+ Safe Handling of Pre-Treatment Chemicals
+ Performs other duties as deemed necessary or assigned by General Foreperson
Qualifications
+ Must be able to lift, push or carry up to 45lbs
+ Basic Computer skills, preferred Microsoft
+ Must be willing to work nights and weekends as well as occasional 12 hour shifts to cover vacations
