OVERVIEW:
To assist the Assistant Principal with the organization of the after-school discipline program.
QUALIFICATIONS:
High School education or equivalent
Bilingual English/Spanish helpful
Moderate proficiency in typing, with good accuracy; average test battery
Computer proficiency to include use of basic software applications (Word, Excel, etc)
Ability to operate general office machines and equipment
Ability to establish and maintain effective and cooperative working relationships with students, parents/guardians, district employees and public
Ability to take initiative and to work with constant interruptions
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Perform a variety of clerical tasks (e.g. typing, filing, copying, scheduling, etc) following standarized procedures in support of assigned personnel
Prepare instructional materials and documents for teachers following established guidelines
Assist in the daily recording and maintenance of student attendance records to ensure reliable data for district, state and federal reporting purposes
Assist in process the registration of new students and withdrawal of students to provide reliable data for district, state and federal reporting purposes
Perform other related duties, as assigned, to ensure the efficient and effective functioning of the work unit
Regular and on-time attendance required
Assist other personnel as may be required for the purpose of supporting them in the completion of their work activities
