New hire experience:
1% of the base hourly rate granted for each year of
verified like experience (within ten years) beyond the
requirement, up to a five-year maximum
New hire education:
1% of the base hourly rate awarded for an AA or
higher degree if not required for the position

OVERVIEW:
To assist audiologist in the performance of student hearing screenings throughout the district. Hearing screening training will be provided.
QUALIFICATIONS:
High School education or equivalent required
Ability to work well with students and staff; good verbal and written communication skills
Ability to maintain confidentiality
Ability to operate general office machines
Ability to organize and prioritize and follow directions
Ability to use own transportation to travel the district to assigned schools
Ability to work flexible hours
Ability lift 20-25 pounds
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assist audiologist in the performance of student hearing screenings
Travel to various school sites as assigned to assist in student hearing screenings
Work flexible work hours as required
Regular and on-time attendance required
Perform other related duties, as assigned, to ensure the efficient and effective functioning of the work unit
Assist other personnel as may be required for the purpose of supporting them in the completion of their work activities
