The Engineering Technician will provide technical support for aircraft testing and evaluation programs, assisting in the development of test plans and integration of modifications for various military aircraft.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Assist in creating Test and Evaluation Master Plans and related documentation per AATC guidelines.
+ Support integration of avionics and mechanical modifications, identifying issues and proposing solutions.
+ Participate in systems engineering tasks, drafting System Engineering Plans and supporting risk management efforts.
+ Collaborate with teams to schedule test activities and prepare necessary test documentation.
+ Conduct post-test evaluations, aiding in problem resolution and reporting findings.
Requirements
Required Experience:
+ 3-5 years of experience in aerospace engineering or technical support roles.
+ Familiarity with military test processes and documentation.
Desired Experience:
+ Knowledge of aircraft modification programs and systems engineering principles.
Education:
Associate’s degree in Engineering Technology or related field; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
