You are:
As the Transportation/Warehouse Management (TM/WM) Consultant, you will play a crucial role as part of our consulting team and driving excellence in Warehouse Management/Transportation Management practices for our clients. You will be responsible to provide strategic guidance, manage client engagements, and deliver solutions that unlock best-in-class capabilities for our clients.
The work:
+ Actively engage on programs as a consultant to drive day-to-day project activities and mentor colleagues
+ Collaborate with clients to understand their business requirements, challenges, and objectives
+ Drive activities such as solution definition, business process definition, requirements documentation and play an active role in the lifecycle of a project
+ Develop Industry leading WMS/TMS solutions to optimize unlock and optimize Fulfillment capabilities, streamline business processes, drive customer experience improvements and improve overall operational efficiency.
+ Contribute to defining KPI’s and metrics, strategies to measure and optimize them for our clients
+ Participate in assessing clients' existing Fulfillment, TMS, and WMS systems and processes, identify areas for improvement, and recommend actionable strategies.
+ Play a key role in implementation of TMS, WMS, and Network Optimization solutions, ensuring alignment with client goals, timelines, and budget constraints.
+ Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in order management and leverage this knowledge to enhance our consulting offerings
+ Travel may be required for this role. The amount of travel will vary from 0 to 100% depending on business need and client requirements.
Here’s what you need:
+ Minimum of 4 years of experience in Transportation Management, Warehouse Management, Supply Chain, Management consulting or a similar role, with a proven track record of successfully leading deliverables and driving measurable results.
+ In-depth knowledge of Transportation and Warehouse leading practices, processes, and systems, including 2+ full lifecycle implementations on one of the following TMS/WMS platforms – Blue Yonder, Manhattan, SAP, or Oracle
+ Minimum 3 years of project management experience, including the ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
+ Minimum 3 years’ experience working with Agile Delivery Methodology, Waterfall Delivery Methodologies and usage of Agile project management tools
Bonus points if:
+ Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Industrial Distribution, or a related field
+ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients, understand their needs, and effectively convey complex concepts.
+ Analytical mindset with the ability to analyze data, identify trends, and develop actionable insights and recommendations.
Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. As required by local law, Accenture provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in California, Colorado, District of Columbia, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New York or Washington as set forth below.
