About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Recruiting Assistant to join our dynamic HR team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in supporting the recruitment lifecycle, from initial candidate screening to onboarding. This is an excellent opportunity for an entry-level professional to gain valuable experience in human resources and build a strong foundation in the recruiting field.
Key Responsibilities:
Candidate Sourcing & Screening:
Screen resumes and applications to identify potential matches for open positions
Schedule and conduct initial phone screens with candidates
Coordinate interview schedules with candidates and hiring managers
Candidate Experience:
Provide excellent candidate communication throughout the recruitment process
Respond to candidate inquiries in a timely and professional manner
Ensure a positive and engaging candidate experience at all stages
Administrative Support:
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS)
Assist with the onboarding process for new hires
Prepare and maintain recruitment-related reports and dashboards
Assist with other administrative tasks as needed
Required Skills:
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (both written and verbal)
Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Positive and enthusiastic attitude with a strong work ethic
Required Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent with further education for administrative/relevant business-related topics.
Minimum of 1 to 2 years of general administrative experience within a professional environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience within a healthcare or behavioral health environment.
Recruiting or Human Resources knowledge.
Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) (e.g., Workday, Greenhouse, Lever).
Salary:
Starting at $19/hr.
Hours:
Part-time (approx. 25 hours per week), Monday – Friday.
