Summary About the Position: This Program Manager (Plans and Operations) is located at U.S. Army Operational Test Command, Intelligence Electronic Warfare Test Directorate (IEWTD) with duty location of Fort Huachuca, Arizona. (merit) ATEC, U.S. Army Operational Test Command uses salary control points within the salary range to allow for differentiation in the level of positions within the same broadband. Therefore, the salary for this position will be set no higher than $161,716.00 (with locality) Responsibilities Determine objectives of work to be accomplished by subordinates as Plans and Operations Support Division Chief. Provide direction for areas such as the development, integration, cost, scheduling, performance, installation, verification, checkout, and testing of the broad spectrum of technology projects, data collection systems and weapons systems under test. Resolve problems in the field to develop fundamental new concepts. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes: 1) Develop studies which include recommendations for improvement of test capabilities and evaluation methods; 2) Execute the preparation of the outline of test plans; AND 3) Manage the test program to ensure requirements are met. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower level/grade position in the federal service (NH-03/GS-13).Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone--no substitution of education for experience is permitted.
