The Role -

Amphenol Aerospace Operations is seeking aProcess Technicianto work out of its state-of-the-art facility inMesa, AZ

The successful candidate will support all products produced in the machining departments. This includes setup, start up, operations and troubleshooting of conventional and CNC machines and post-machining operations.

The key responsibilities of aProcess Technicianinclude, but are not limited to:

+ Daily manufacturing floor support

+ Creation of programs for new products

+ Maintain DNC with proven, best practice programs

+ Providing training for Operators to run good quality parts

+ Support initiatives and training for corrective actions

+ Quality and technical support to internal and external customers

+ Continuous improvement and cost reduction activities

+ Process troubleshooting to ensure quality product is machined

+ Complete initial set up of jobs on varying machines

+ Mesa, AZ

+ 20 Minute Drive from Phoenix, AZ

The Person -

The key skills and qualities of aProcess Technicianat Amphenol Aerospace Operations:

+ Technical or associate degree is a plus, 6 + years in machining

+ Must have knowledge of programming CNC machines and some conventional experience

+ Proficient with the setup and operation of conventional and CNC machines to produce aluminum and steel parts

+ Familiar with technical drawings and precision measurement devices

+ Knowledge of MS Office programs

+ Possible travel domestic or overseas

+ Must be able to multitask, work with minimal supervision and lead teams; participate in projects for all aspects of the connector business

+ Confidentiality

+ Excellent oral and written skills

+ Computer usage from 1 to 8 hours a day

+ Must be able to sit, stand, and walk for prolonged periods of time

+ Ability to lift and carry up to 20 pounds
