We are seeking a reliable, career-driven individual who is eager to learn the treatment process to join our team. This is an entry-level position where you will have the opportunity to learn the operation, maintenance, inspection, and repair of the District's Wastewater Treatment Facility, Advanced Water Treatment Facility, and recycled water distribution systems and their components.
Applicants must possess an AZ driver's license and have a clean driving record. A pre-employment drug test and background check are required. The applicant must be able to obtain, within one year of hire, a Grade 1 Wastewater Treatment Operator Certification issued by the ADEQ.
Hours may vary between 8-or 10-hour shifts. The treatment plant staffed hours are between 0500 to 2200 seven days a week.
