POSITION SUMMARY

The Training Program Manager will play a key role in advancing our training initiatives by collaborating with subject matter experts and the Senior Leadership Team. This position is responsible identifying training and development needs through comprehensive analysis of organizational performance and job requirements. The Training Program Manager will oversee training for employees, ensuring the development, implementation, coordination and maintenance of clinical and non-clinical training and competencies. Additionally, the Training Program Manager will manage relationships and partnerships with other departments to effectively address the training needs of the organization.

Qualifications

ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

+ Current clinical licensure (e.g., RN, LPN) is required.

+ Minimum of two (2) years of clinical experience in a healthcare setting.

+ Proven experience in developing, managing, or implementing training programs and training curriculums.

+ Certification in Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and Automated External Defibrillator (AED) for Health Care Professionals, following American Heart Association and Red Cross guidelines (including cognitive and skills evaluations).

+ Valid Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card issued by the Arizona Department of Public Safety, or the ability to obtain one within 30 days of employment.

+ Evidence of a valid Arizona driver’s license and current auto insurance.

+ Excellent communication skills.

+ Ability to collaborate effectively as a team member within Adelante Healthcare.

+ Demonstrated capability to implement and manage process improvement strategies.

+ Strong prioritization and multitasking skills.

+ Must have experience with utilizing different teaching methods and tools such PowerPoint, lecture, verbal, videos, or other methods.

POSITION REPONSIBILITIES/ESSENTIAL:

+ Strategic Planning: Lead the strategic planning and oversight of the Training Program to align with organizational goals.

+ Program Implementation: Oversee the implementation and monitoring of training initiatives designed to bridge identified skill and competency gaps.

+ Trainer Development: Provide oversight and guidance for the Level I-IV trainers, fostering professional growth through coaching and development opportunities.

+ Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work collaboratively with various departments to ensure the training department effectively supports organizational objectives.

+ Culture Enhancement: Promote and model the organizational mission, vision, and core values to strengthen the Adelante Healthcare culture.

+ New Hire Onboarding Training Management: Ensure trainers Level I -Leve III facilitate comprehensive training for new support staff such as Medical Assistants, Dental Assistants, Behavior Health, and non-clinical staff to ensure successful integration into the organization.

+ Provider Onboarding: Facilitate comprehensive training for new providers to ensure successful integration into the organization.

+ Develop effective training curriculum, workflows and other materials utilizing a variety of media such as videos, presentations, lectures, hands on courses and other methods.

+ Needs Assessment: Assess staff learning needs through direct observation, formal evaluations, and reviews of quality improvement metrics.

+ Effectiveness Evaluation: Evaluate and report on the effectiveness of training programs to drive continuous improvement.

+ Training Schedule Management: Ensure that Level III training schedules are effectively managed and executed.

+ Documentation Maintenance: Ensure Level III is maintaining thorough records of training activities, ensuring preparedness for internal and external audits.

+ Meeting Participation: Attend relevant meetings to support organizational initiatives and ensure alignment with training goals.

+ Demonstrated experience as an Advocate for Health Care or Human Rights

Work environment: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is exposed to weather conditions prevalent at the time when traveling to various clinic sites. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. The employee may be subject to health hazards (contagious diseases, blood borne pathogens, etc.) when working in the clinic area.
