GCE designs and develops educational programs for GCU and other traditional campus institutions, as well as online partner institutions at the undergraduate, graduate and doctoral levels.
Grand Canyon Education is seeking a highly motivated and dynamic bilingual Program Development Supervisor. The Program Development Supervisor is responsible for departmental oversight of their respective partner institution vertical’s recruitment efforts, which includes the direct management and quality control of a student worker team responsible for the coordination, execution, and subject matter expertise related to vertical-specific student appointments, marketing strategies, campus visitation events/programming, and vertical-specific webinars. The Program Development Supervisor is also responsible for directly producing targeted strategies, and other value-add admissions support mechanisms in order to maximize enrollment growth of high caliber undergraduate students.
What you will do:
+ Provide one-on-one counseling to prospective students and their families, guiding them through the application and enrollment process in both Spanish and English
+ Translate and interpret key enrollment-related documents, forms, and materials, ensuring accessibility for Spanish-speaking students and families.
+ Assist with completing college application forms, financial aid applications, and other necessary paperwork, ensuring clarity and accuracy.
+ Hire, onboard, train and serve as the primary leadership contact for their respective partner institution vertical, developing cooperative recruitment strategies and processes for improving enrollment in a specific program or family of programs.
+ Supervise and coach to the quality of a variety of applications of strategic recruitment including, but not limited to, communication with prospective students, campus visitation events, campus tours, and remote webinars, ensuring high quality outcomes that directly and positively influence Admissions outcomes and strategies.
+ Ensure proper coverage and scheduling according to the needs of all supporting Program Recruitment functions while maintaining target labor costs; ensures adherence to applicable wage and hour laws for nonexempt team members and youth employment.
+ Establish processes and job aids to standardize communication and general understanding of program requirements, content, and application/scholarship procedures for Admissions personnel.
+ Serve as liaison between admissions and prospects, directly answering questions and concerns about curriculum, programming, requirements, etc., while also training and coaching student workers to achieve the same outcomes.
+ Participate in or supervise campus events to showcase program to prospects and generates presentation tools/materials Admissions can use in the field to support promoting the program.
+ Collect, monitor, and maintain prospective student data related to Admissions-oriented milestones and evaluates efficiency and effectiveness of recruitment events and procedures; recommend and implement changes after collaboration with Admissions management and College management.
+ Ensure all recruitment strategies, policy and program guidelines align with GCU academic philosophy and initiatives.
+ Travel within ancillary territories to support recruitment fairs and events.
What you will have:
+ Bachelor’s degree is required.
+ Fluency in both Spanish and English with excellent written and verbal communication skills in both languages.
+ One year of experience working in higher education.
+ Cannot be delinquent or in default on a federal student loan as verified in your credit report. If in a rehabilitation program, your credit report must reflect that you are current, not delinquent, on your payments.
+ Must have own vehicle, valid driver's license, clean driving record.
