PDS Tech Commercial is seeking a **Product Repair/Modification Technician A** for a **12-month consulting role** in **Mesa, AZ** . This is an exciting opportunity to work in the **Depot, Repair & Overhaul (DRO) shop for the Apache helicopter program** , restoring used parts to serviceable condition. If you have strong **mechanical skills, attention to detail, and a passion for aviation repair work** , this could be the perfect role for you.

+ **Schedule:** Monday to Friday, **First Shift (5 AM – 3:30 PM)**

+ **Pay Rate:** $26.49 – $29.43 per hour

**What You’ll Do**

As a **Product Repair Technician** , your role will be critical in ensuring the reliability and performance of Apache helicopter components. Responsibilities include:

+ Inspect and repair **gearbox parts, transmission components, and upper control magnesium parts** .

+ Identify and **remove corrosion, nicks, and scratches** while preserving part integrity.

+ Read and interpret **assembly drawings, process specifications, and technical manuals** .

+ Verify dimensions and clearances using **micrometers, calipers, and gauges** .

+ Perform **hand finishing, stud replacements, bushing replacements, and insert repairs** .

+ Work closely with **Manufacturing and Liaison Engineers** to review and clarify repair plans.

+ Conduct **pre- and post-repair measurements** to ensure compliance with factory specifications.

+ Maintain a **safe, organized workspace** , adhering to Foreign Object Debris (FOD) awareness protocols.

**Required Qualifications**

+ Strong **mechanical skills and hands-on experience** with tools and precision measurements.

+ Ability to **read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and process specifications** .

+ Attention to detail and ability to **work with minimal blending to preserve component integrity** .

+ Commitment to **safety, quality, and organized work environments** .

+ Regular and predictable attendance is required.

+ **This position requires use of information or access to facilities subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). **Preferred Qualifications**

+ **Aviation or aerospace industry experience** is a plus.

+ Knowledge of **corrosion identification and removal techniques** .

+ Experience with **chemical touch-ups, machining, or advanced repair techniques** .

**Pay Details:** $26.49 to $29.43 per hour
