The anticipated salary range for this role is between $97,000.00 and $156,000.00. The specific salary offered to an applicant will be based on their individual qualification, experiences, and analysis of current compensation paid in their geography and the market for similar roles at time of hire. **SUMMARY:**
Our team is looking for a hands-on Software Engineer that is highly proficient in Python and associated libraries commonly used for Data Engineering. You'll be part of the team that is responsible for building out pipelines to process Data from ingesting the same into our lake and warehouse, to building out extractions of said data to support various LOBs for their data needs. As an Associate Software Engineer - Data on the team, you will get an opportunity to perform proof of concept on new cloud technologies work with cutting edge tools to build out and deliver these capabilities.
**PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:**
+ Worked in an agile environment
+ Proactively identify and assist in solving recurring data quality or data availability issues
+ Monitor, support, triage data pipelines that ingest, move, transform, and integrate as it moves from acquisition to consumption layers
+ Exceptional problem solving and troubleshooting skills, analyze data to figure out issues/patterns
+ Effective communication skills with technical and business teams
+ Aspire to be efficient, thorough, and proactive
+ Able to develop queries, metrics for data platform related ad-hoc reporting and/or ETL batch triage
+ Maintain knowledge base and FAQ documentation providing instructions for solving a problem that jobs commonly run into
**POSITION SPECIFICATIONS:**
+ 4+ years of overall software engineering experience that includes hands-on software development, data engineering
+ 3+ years for hands-on coding experience in SQL, Python, PySpark
+ 3+ years of experience with advanced orchestration tools – Apache Airflow, Apache Beam
+ 2+ years of experience in at least one cloud (Azure, AWS, GCP) platforms, preferably GCP
+ Experience in building CI/CD processes and pipelines
