**Schedule Friday through Monday 4:00 AM - 2:30 pm**
Our team seeks a(n) Outbound Freight Specialist to help us create better outdoor experiences by ensuring that REI’s standards are properly applied and maintained in our Distribution Center. In this role, you will support the daily operation by accurately and effectively managing product flow, work with vendors on any problem receipts/orders and assist with complicated situations, such as returns from our retail locations. As a Specialist, you will make decisions that will have an impact on operations and ensure compliance with REI’s vales and missions.

**Your qualities:**
+ Comfortable working with heights of 30+ ft.
+ Able to work standing or walking for 8-12 hour shifts.
+ Safely handle product in an efficient and trained manner.
+ Ability to build rapport with other departments to ensure freight flow service levels and quality levels are maintained
+ Able to frequently lift and shift boxes weighing an average of 20 to 30 pounds with a maximum of 65 pounds throughout a full shift of work.
+ Flexibility to work within different departments.
+ Works efficiently and safely by setting effective work goals, establishing priorities, and producing quality work.
+ Able to work under pressure to ensure deliveries of product are shipped on time.
+ Able to collaborate cross-departmentally to strategize and plan each day in order to execute shipping as much product as possible to our stores and customers.

**Pay Range**
$18.20 - $20.40 per hour
