Job Description

Insight Global is looking for a Materials Process Engineer for our client in the aerospace field. This role involves researching, designing, and developing materials and their fabrication processes to optimize their use in aerospace structures and systems. It requires applying principles of chemistry, physics, and material behavior to create specifications for metals, non-metals, and composites. The job includes developing and improving fabrication and assembly processes, conducting material analyses such as failure analysis and lifespan predictions, and defining requirements. Additionally, the role involves reviewing and approving material processing procedures from subcontractors.

Skills and Requirements

- 7+ years Materials Process Engineering experience preferably in aerospace

- 3 years experience reviewing drawings or specs

- Experience creating and verifying process control plans

- Experience with polymers or non-metallic materials - MIL-STD-11991 titled "general standard for parts, materials, and processes null
