Are you passionate about helping those in your community and making a lasting impact on someone's life? We are currently seeking a dedicated BHT who will serve as a positive role model to support, lead, and encourage youth and young adults. You will have the chance to form lasting relationships, encourage positive behavior, and design activities to promote the overall welfare of participants, all while increasing your knowledge of social work, behavioral studies, and management skills. We believe that personal relationships hold the key to changing behavior, and we place our trust in our passionate team of BHTs. Direct Service BHTs are a big part of our client's treatment team, including therapists, caseworkers, probation officers, legal guardians, etc.
NEW HORIZON COMMUNITY CARE OFFERS OUTPATIENT SERVICES THROUGHOUT THE VALLEY.
We encourage the development of healthy relationships and personal growth through group and individual treatment programs. Our mentors and clinicians work closely with the client's treatment teams, families, and guardians to ensure they receive the most effective services.
Our Outpatient Services include, but are not limited to our CHOICE program, a day program which provides services to youth and teens. The mission of the CHOICE program is to encourage the development of mindfulness, healthy relationships, and personal growth through group and individual treatment.
Our goal is to focus on meeting our clients where they are and help them build the skills necessary to optimize future CHOICES and outcomes. The program serves clients 11-23 years old, separated into age appropriate groups.
The CHOICE program was designed to meet the needs of clients who struggle in traditional school settings as a result of varying social, behavioral, or learning challenges. We are driven by the shared desire in reaching personal and educational goals for our clients.
As clients progress toward behavioral health goals, they are provided with educational assistance through structured educational curriculum. Curriculum is individually paced and staff offer support and encouragement throughout the entire process. Our BHTs in this position assist clients during active times of crisis to use coping mechanisms and emotional regulation to better manage their behaviors. We strive for our clients through development, healthy relationships, and discipline for a successful future and a better quality of life.
