Job Description

A large financial enterprise in Phoenix, AZ is looking for Network Cloud Security Engineer. You will be joining the Cloud Security M+A, Cyber Integration Team so an understanding of public cloud environments such as GCP, Azure and AWS are a must as you will be implementing and managing network architectures within those clouds. This new acquisition will be heavily focused within Google Cloud and Google Kubernetes Engine, so your public cloud exposure is desired to be within GCP. While this team brings the acquired company, you will be working closely with the Cloud Engineers for Service Certification, working with the public console, meeting with stakeholders to understand their environment. Within the network space, you will be responsible for daily responsibilities involving configuration and connections, troubleshooting network and VPN problems, IP address auditing, establishing network environments by designing system configuration and installation, and maintaining overall network performance but you will also help in the cloud network engineer space to help identify cloud based solutions. Due to this company heavily using Terraform, you will need to be able to efficiently build out and help with versioning infrastructure against multi-cloud environments. This organization is going through Mergers and Acquisitions this year so you will be involved in getting those companies into the same environment and on the same network

Skills and Requirements

-5+ years' experience within Network Security, Information Security or IT industry.

-2+ years of hands on architecture experience

-Extensive experience with Public Cloud, preferably GCP.

-Proficient in working with containers such as Docker or Kubernetes.

-Knowledgeable in Terraform.

-Great understanding of firewalls, preferably Palo Alto. null
