Your Responsibilities
+ Ideate with key business stakeholders on potential opportunities and use-cases to leverage AI to generate tangible value.
+ Facilitate strategic technical planning with business stakeholders, and technology staff, to identify, scope, and prioritize new functionality on multiple initiatives and/or applications.
+ Gain an expert understanding of customer requirements through interviews with product owners and subject matter experts to document analysis, business process descriptions, business analysis, tasks, and workflow analysis for the purpose of critically evaluating information gathered from multiple sources, reconciling conflicts, and resolving ambiguities.
+ Create user stories and/or use cases by decomposing high-level information into d etails and documents well-defined with testable acceptance criteria.
+ Assist and meet with the product owners to ensure alignment on business request and to discuss iteration roadmap progress and priorities.
+ Collaborate with developers, architects, test leads, and other subject matter experts to establish the technical vision and to analyze tradeoffs between usability and performance needs.
+ Ability to schedule, contribute and facilitate team meetings which include architecture and design, grooming, stand-ups, hand-offs, planning events.
+ Provide subject matter support during testing efforts to ensure business requirements and cross-domain dependencies are accounted for. Assists with root cause analysis and analysis/management of defects. Assists with user acceptance testing.
+ Ensure proper Change Management plan is created and executed upon in alignment with Business Stakeholder needs.
+ Collaborate with all levels of Choice AI Task Force, informing potential use-cases, and partnering on forward looking initiatives.
Your Experience, Skills & Competencies
+ Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, or related field, or a combination of equivalent education and/or work experience.
+ Minimum of 7 years relevant experience working with all levels of business understanding current challenges, potential opportunities, and ideating on potential solutions leveraging emerging technologies in alignment with overall strategic direction.
+ Minimum of 7 years relevant experience in agile software development, translating business needs into functional and technical requirements.
+ Passion for emerging technologies, transformation and innovation required.
+ Exceptional consulting and analytical skills.
+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
+ Ability to effectively present an idea or solution, including expressing technical concepts in business terms to both technical and non-technical audiences.
+ Proficient in core productivity tools such as Microsoft Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
+ Skilled in the use of process flow diagram applications and feature mapping software.
+ Ability to work effectively and collaborate in a team-oriented environment, both independently and collaboratively.
+ Comfortable evolving approach and adapting based on project needs with both business and IT teams.
Your Team
This is an individual contributor role that will work as a part of the Choice IT Innovation Team. You will work as part of a greater IT Strategy Organization and collaborate with cross functional departments on a regular basis.
Your Work Location
As our Sr. Business Systems Analyst, you will be based in our beautiful, state-of-the-art technology hub in Scottsdale, AZ. In October 2021, Choice opened a newly constructed world class technology center.
