Summary of Responsibilities:

The vice president of national accounts has overall responsibility for national suppliers ensuring our programs, integrations, customer service quality, and ongoing relationships are strong, efficient, and effectively managed. This role is responsible for managing the utility program as well as other various Avenue5 standard programs. Additionally, this position will assist in ensuring compliance with the Avenue5 preferred supplier partnerships and standard programs.

Primary Responsibilities and Objectives:

· Manage utility program(s) with our national supplier partner(s) for all onboarding properties and any existing properties looking to add this program

· Lead and facilitate training on national suppliers, utility programs, and other standard programs as needed

· Manage the receipt and organization of all sales reporting for multiple national programs and report as appropriate

· Manage and facilitate compliance within our internal programs and with our national programs, including communicating internally and to our operators regarding the results of the compliance tracking

· Advisor for internal teams as related to national suppliers

· Perform other duties as assigned

Education and Experience:

· High school diploma is required. Bachelor’s degree in accounting or another business-related field is preferred.

· Five plus years of property management experience is required

· Five plus years of experience purchasing, procurement, or sourcing experience is required

· Five plus years of experience in Yardi Voyager or other equivalent systems is required

· Five plus years of experience in Salesforce or other equivalent systems is required

· Five plus of experience in residential property management utility billing through a third party is required

Skills and Requirements:

· Intermediate level knowledge with MS Office Suite including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel (including Excel functions)

· Proven ability to firmly manage challenging situations, negotiate pricing, improve quality, reduce lead times, and strengthen partnerships with quality suppliers

· Possess a basic understanding of supply chain management concepts

· Ability to work independently and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills

· Detailed oriented and a desire to learn

· Required to complete and successfully pass the Avenue5 Fair Housing and Preventing Discrimination and Harassment training and other courses if assigned

Scheduling:

· Typically, normal business hours

· Ability to travel at least 20%

Environment:

· Exposure to an environment typically found in an office building
