The Information Security Management Department ensures the safety and security of our guests, employees, and assets by implementing and maintaining robust security measures across all our properties. Your Responsibilities

+ Act as the main point of contact for all safety and security issues related to corporate-managed hotels in Physical Security Operations.

+ Conduct safety and security assessments and action plans for corporate and managed properties.

+ Develop action plans to address areas of exposure.

+ Assist properties with security incidents and safety incidents and issue.

+ Provide annual and ongoing safety and security training for key stakeholders.

+ Engage in meetings with local law enforcement and city officials to discuss property-specific issues.

+ Monitor regular compliance, industry trends, and best practices for physical security (e.g., OSHA) and conduct Risk Awareness Visitation Evaluations (RAVEs).

+ Lead crisis management efforts.

+ Perform additional duties as assigned.

Your Experience, Skills & Competencies

+ A Bachelor’s degree is required or at least seven (7) years of relevant safety and security experience.

+ 7+ years of progressive safety and security management experience in hospitality.

+ 5+ years of multi-brand, multi-unit, regional or national experience.

+ OSHA Teaching certification preferred.

+ ASIS Certified Protection Professional (CPP) certification

+ Expertise in developing safety and security manuals, policies, and programs.

+ Proficiency with security software systems.

+ Familiarity with standards, regulations, and best practices for safety and security in the hospitality industry.

+ Experience developing, leading, and improving incident and crisis management processes and guidelines.

+ Strong decision-making skills with an understanding of organizational impacts.

+ Effective communication skills, both written and oral.

+ Ability to interact effectively with all management levels.

+ Ability to travel up to 50% of the time.

+ Ability to qualify and obtain Secret Clearance (Government).

Your Team

This is an individual contributor role that will report to the Head of Security operations. You will have no peer teammate(s) and collaborate with cross functional departments on a regular basis.

Your Work Location

As our Physical Security Operations Manager, you will be based in our beautiful, state-of-the-art technology hub in Scottsdale, AZ. In October 2021, Choice opened a newly constructed world class technology center.
