**Job Summary:** The Principal Solution Director (Solution Director III) will be responsible for overseeing the design, development, and implementation of comprehensive IT solutions for our clients. This role requires a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of technology trends, ability to review client requirements and create a transformative solution, excellent leadership skills, and a proven track record in managing complex IT pursuits. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in solution design, architecture, financials and communications. The Principal Solution Director manages strategies and solutions for the largest/most strategic new business opportunities as well as strategic competitive renewals by developing compelling win, solution, and price strategies to meet client requirements for outsourced managed services.

**Key Responsibilities:**

+ Lead the development and implementation of IT solutions that meet client needs and business objectives.

+ Collaborate with clients to understand their business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

+ Oversee the solution architecture process, ensuring alignment with industry best practices and company standards.

+ Manage a matrix team of solution architects, pricers, and delivery to deliver high-quality solutions on time.

+ Provide technical leadership and guidance to the team, fostering a culture of innovation, transformation and continuous improvement.

+ Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, acting as a trusted advisor and ensuring customer satisfaction.

+ Stay up to date with the latest technology trends and advancements and incorporate them into solution designs.

+ Prepare and present proposals, project plans, and status reports to clients and senior management.

+ Participate in pre-sales activities and assist the sales team in identifying and qualifying pursuits.

+ Lead and guide the pursuit/bid team to develop cohesive solutions, pricing, proposal creation, and presentations to the customer.

+ Create cohesive end-to-end custom solutions, write persuasive proposals, and conduct orals utilizing strong communication skills.

+ Lead customer discovery workshops to understand business issues/objectives, transformation opportunities, and problem statements of customers/prospects.

+ Develop Statements of Work (SOWs) and assess and mitigate risks through the solution design and contract language.

+ Work with sales, delivery, and senior leadership to establish price strategies.

+ Provide mentoring and training to others within the Solution Services organization.

**Required Skills:**

+ Expertise in multiple areas of IT infrastructure services (digital workplace, Cloud, etc.) including business development activities, outsourced sales cycles, and solution integration.

+ Proficiency in client-facing conversations, competitive and partner products, and implementation methodologies and best practices.

+ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proven ability to lead and manage digital transformation initiatives.

+ Experience in driving organizational change and fostering a culture of innovation, assessing current processes and identifying opportunities for improvement.

+ Expertise in implementing new technologies and methodologies to enhance business operations, coupled with a strong understanding of change management principles and practices.

+ Ability to communicate and advocate for transformation strategies both verbally and in writing to stakeholders at all levels.

+ Flexible schedule and ability to travel (up to 50%).

**Qualifications:**

+ Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or a related field.

+ 10+ years of experience in IT solution architecture, solution development, transformational project management, or a related role.

+ Proven experience in leading and managing complex IT projects and teams.

+ Strong understanding of digital workplace and IT infrastructure, inclusive of transformational approaches in these areas.

+ Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

+ Ability to think strategically and solve complex problems.

+ Strong client relationship management skills.

+ PMP, TOGAF, ITIL, or other relevant certifications are a plus.

+ Able to operate under pressure managing multiple opportunities and demanding clients.

+ Expert communication skills to keep customer and stakeholders aware of plans, decisions, status, and other relevant information.

+ Adaptability - Ability to triage varied requests and opportunities based on client urgency.

+ Productivity - Ability to quickly react to complex requests and properly solution more technically complex opportunities while maintaining accuracy and a structured approach.

**Salary** - 170,000-190,000 DOE Plus incentive eligible
