**Where You Will Work**

Our Henderson mine and mill are an hour drive apart – separated by the Continental Divide and a 15-mile conveyor system (10 miles underground). The Henderson mine is an underground molybdenum mining operation located approximately 42 miles west of Denver and 10 miles west of Empire. It has been in operation since 1976 and today consists of a large block-cave, underground mining complex feeding a concentrator with a current capacity of approximately 32,000 metric tons per day. It can produce approximately 15 million pounds of molybdenum per year. The Henderson mill is located 15 miles west of the mine, between Dillon and Kremmling.

**Description**

This position is located at the Henderson Mine, which is in an underground mine plant setting at an elevation of 10,800 feet above sea level. This may include exposure to extremes in temperature and humidity, moving mechanical parts, risk of electrical shock, toxic chemicals, explosives, fumes or airborne particles. - Employee who under direct supervision safely performs duties related to the Hauling of materials and/or operating crushing/conveying systems of an underground mining facility at a semi-skilled level. - Monitors operations of crushing and conveying system - May assist with and perform haulage duties that may include: Operation of a haul truck, loading materials from the shaft and dumping materials at the crusher - Frequently communicates and coordinates with HMI Dispatcher - May assist with online processing system operations HMI which includes: Assisting with and performing C/C start-ups after emergency shut-downs - May assist with and perform C/C: - Transfer operation duties - Reclaim operation duties - May operate equipmentsuch as:- mine tractors, water trucks, front-end loaders, skid-steer loaders, motor graders, lift-trucks, supra haul trucks, excavators, compactors, hydraulic rock breakers and forklifts - May build and maintain haulage roads - Performs housekeeping duties - May assist with blasting procedure - Performs other duties as required

**Qualifications**

Minimum Qualifications:

+ Three (3) months experience in one of the following areas:

+ Mining/Manufacturing

+ Industrial Operations

+ Commercial Construction

+ Commercial Landscaping

+ Commercial Agriculture

+ Must be able to receive and maintain Explosive Possessor Certification through the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (BATF)

+ Required to follow the safe and proper procedures of the Underground Personal Identification system

+ Knowledge of the mill surface conveyor system

+ Knowledge of system flow sheets, control loops and interlocks

+ Knowledge of start-up and shut-down procedures, power failure procedures

+ Knowledge of mine emergency and job specific safety procedures

+ Must have completed academic and practical competencies required (this includes Line of Progression requirements for internal employees where LOP Exists) and have experience demonstrating the required aptitude. The selected candidate shall demonstrate the ability to apply knowledge and skills while also passing a written assessment where required. This exam is based on skills/abilities and/or academic knowledge; as well as safety.

**What We Offer You**

The estimated pay range for this role is currently **$21.00- $27.50 hour.** This range reflects base salary only and does not include bonus payments, benefits or retirement contributions. Actual base pay is determined by experience, qualifications, skills and other job-related factors. This role is eligible for additional discretionary and incentive payment considerations based on company and individual performance.
