**Responsibilities**
To purchase and maintain inventory of pharmaceutical and supplies for the pharmacy department. Provides Inventory Control management for pharmaceutical purchases, ensures cost containment and appropriate drug inventory supply. Assists Pharmacists in dispensing of medications, IV admixtures and other pharmaceutical supplies. Performs computer ADT functions, patient charging and crediting. All work performed is done under the supervision of a Pharmacist.

**Qualifications**
Required:
+ Completion of a pharmacy technician program
+ CA Pharm Tech license
+ 3 years experience as a pharmacy technician
+ 1 year experience in purchasing of pharmaceuticals or equivalent related work experience in an acute care facility.
+ Proficient in purchasing software, spreadsheets, Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
Preferred:
+ 2 years experience in inpatient pharmacy purchasing
+ 6 month experience preparing sterile and non-sterile compounding medications
+ Bilingual preferred
**Pay Range**
$35.63 - $40.36 /hour
