**Responsibilities**

Coordinates, supervises and implements patient care based on competence, professional expertise, knowledge and evidence-based practice. Practice autonomously, consistent with professional standards, Nurse Practice Act and hospital job description.

+ Assess patients according to SJHMC standards of care and individual patient needs.

+ Monitors vital signs, lab values and diagnostic tests and reports/acts on abnormal results.

+ Administers prescribed medications and intravenous solutions according to standards of care and hospital protocols.

+ Documents clinically relevant assessments, findings, and histories in the patient's record according to hospital protocols.

+ Processes all new hires and coordinates the reporting of results.

+ Coordinates and performs drug screening and other mandatory testing. Ensures all testing is done as specified by job description and regulatory agencies.

+ Performs fit-testing and per OSHA protocols.

**Qualifications**

**MINIMIUM**

Completion of RN program

Greater than two years of RN experience

AZ RN license or RN License from a Compact State

American Heart Association BCLS

**Pay Range**

$36.96 - $53.60 /hour
