**Part Time Night Break Relief Nurse - Definitive Observation 2**

Come join our 29 bed Definitive Observation 2 unit also known as 2Main. This unit cares for a diverse population of medical telemetry patients. This dynamic unit utilizes all of the evidence-based practices of the Nursing Bundle to maximize the patient experience. This is an opportunity to work with a dedicated and dynamic core group of nurses and other allied health care workers to provide loving care to some of our community’s most vulnerable patients through patient-centeredness teamwork and excellence.

The incumbent is a professional who provides and supervises care to individuals and families using a holistic approach. The nursing process is used as a structured mechanism for critical thinking and problem solving in providing effective and appropriate care within a safe and confidential environment from admission to discharge. Each RN is responsible for collaborating with members of the healthcare team providing leadership personal/professional development and conducting him/herself professionally.

**Qualifications**

**This position is designed to break the nurses for lunches and breaks during a 6.5 hour shift from 2230-0500.**

**Minimum:**

+ Current CA RN licensure

+ 1 year RN experience in an acute medical surgical or telemetry unit within the last 5 years

+ Current BLS and ACLS from the American Heart Association

$67.57 - $82.06 /hour
