As a **Supply Chain Subcontract Specialist - Level 4 (Senior Principal)** for our Tactical Space Systems Division located onsite in **Dulles, VA** , you'll be a linchpin in missions of paramount importance, defining the art of the possible from day one.
The selected candidate will be part of Global Supply Chain (GSC) proposals department. Responsibilities include but not limited to:
+ Developing GSC proposal strategy for each capture, evaluating prime solicitation and determining applicable flow-downs to be incorporated into a supplier’s Request for Proposal
+ Issuance of Request for Proposals to comply with company policies and prime solicitation requirements, proposal evaluation and identification of any risk that needs to be mitigated,
+ Preparation of price and/or cost analysis, pre-negotiation plans, supplier negotiations, preparation of proposal review/approval to various levels of executives,
+ Preparation of various proposal narratives, such as Supply Chain Management Plan, Supply Chain Risk Management Plan (SCRM)and any other unique GSC requirements that will need to be incorporated into proposal submission,
+ Close collaboration/coordination with all functional areas and adhering to proposal schedule deadlines.
**Basic Qualifications:**
+ A bachelor’s degree and 8 years of relevant experience in contracts, supply chain, or procurement. Or in lieu of a degree, 12 years of relevant experience in contracts, supply chain, or procurement.
+ Knowledge of government acquisition process with a strong knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and agency supplements, such as Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations (DFARS), NASA (NFS).
+ Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
+ Must be able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret security clearance.
**Preferred Qualifications:**
+ Previous proposal experience is desirable.
+ Self-starter with problem solving skills.
+ Ability to mentor other subcontract professionals of varying levels of experience.
Salary Range: $113,500.00 - $170,300.00
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
