Northrop Grumman Space Systems Sector Chief Information & Digital Office (CIDO) is seeking a _novice_ to _senior_ level **Software Development Analyst** to join its team at our Space Park location.
_Note- The selected candidate will be required to work on-site, full-time, at our facility/campus. This is not a virtual position._
The qualified applicant will perform software development and maintenance tasks as a member of Software Development team, providing system support for manufacturing execution systems (MES) software, **Solumina** .
The software development analyst will work as a team member and interface with Space System business partner and other stakeholders. He/she will participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle. The software application maintenance/development environment involves various technologies, including but is not limited to: Web Application Development framework, Programming in Java, Oracle DB, PL/SQL, Scripting Language, Reporting Skills (Crystal Report), Tomcat and Apache Web servers on Linux.
Additional responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
+ Directly support resolution of all software related problems within the MES production environment.
+ Gather requirements for engineering and manufacturing software support needs from business partners
+ Perform various software engineering tasks involved in the entire SW development life cycle from requirements analysis up to software maintenance.
+ Support strategic planning of software tool usage through process development, automation and technology
+ Participate in routine maintenance of applications and infrastructure(apply and test patches, maintain app account/passwords, address server and application vulnerabilities, support power outages, facilities moves and other off-shift maintenance activities, etc.)
+ Support various enterprise initiatives and technology and data center uplifts.

**This position can be filled as a Level 2, or as a Level 3, depending on the applicant's years of experience, skills, and education.**
**Basic Qualifications (for Level 2):**
+ Must have a Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics) with 2 years of working experience as a Software or Applications Developer; **OR** must have a Master's Degree in a STEM discipline with at least 2 months of working experience as a Software or Applications Developer (An appropriate combination of education and experience may be considered in lieu of the degree requirement)
+ Must have experience with **Oracle 12C** databases/ **RDBMS** and above, **Oracle PL/SQL** including packages, procedures and functions
+ Experience as a Web Application Developer is required performing **embedded SQL Programing**
+ Experience with programming in **Java** is required
+ Must have the ability to provide occasional after-hours and/or weekend support, as needed
+ Candidate must have the ability to obtain a **TS/SCI** security clearance, as a condition of continued employment in this role

**Preferred Qualifications:**
+ The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science with 4 years of experience as a Software Developer in classified and unclassified environments, using Oracle 12C, Oracle PL/SQL, embedded SQL Programing to enhance Solumina G8 and/or Solumina iSeries MES application tool suites
+ Familiarity with Apache web server and application container (Tomcat)
+ Ability to work well in a teaming environment and to support a diverse range of customers
+ Ability to adjust to a fast paced, rapidly changing environment
+ Possess a strong curiosity for learning emerging new technologies
+ Prefer direct experience with Solumina G8 and/or Solumina iSeries
+ Knowledge in technology stacks (Docker deployment, Kubernetes, Microservice, REST API, Maven, Sprint Boot, JavaScript, React, Redux, Node.js)
+ Ability to adapt to a changing environment , handle multiple priorities and lead a software team project
+ Current SCI clearance would be ideal

Salary Range: $89,400.00 - $134,200.00Salary Range 2: $110,300.00 - $165,500.00
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
