Our amazing Cardiology Clinic has an immediate opening for an experienced Cardiology nurse! This is a rare opportunity to work alongside the best cardiologists in the country, and this role will be primarily supporting the Pulmonary Hypertension Clinic. The incumbent will be meeting with patients once a month on a Tuesday/Wednesday, you will be working alongside the provider, as he/she assesses the patient for an initial consultation or a follow up visit. Incumbent will be responsible for all the care coordination, creating orders for doctor to review/sign as a result of the appointment, scheduling additional testing for patient, etc. This position is M - F, 8:30 AM - 5 PM, no exception. After 6 mos of employment, will consider a work from home schedule up to 2 days a week, but this is dependent upon performance, your ability to learn the department, meeting/exceeding performance expectations, etc. Ideal candidate will have a MINIMUM of 2 years cardiology experience working in a clinic or hospital environment. This position, in collaboration with the healthcare team, patient, and family, coordinates and promotes patient health utilizing evidence-based practice in the delivery of professional nursing care across the care continuum. This position advocates for the patient and family adhering to nursing and medical plans of care, regulatory standards, and organizational values.
