We are seeking a Clinical Nurse Attending to join our specialty inpatient pediatric units (CA8 and CA9). In this unique role, you will apply your clinical expertise to mentor bedside nurses, lead quality and safety initiatives, and elevate evidence-based practice across the units. The incumbent will serve as a clinical mentor and role model to nurses, promoting excellence in pediatric care-Partner with staff and leaders to ensure safe, high-quality patient outcomes-Drive change by supporting evidence-based practices and continuous improvement initiatives-Collaborate across disciplines to patient safety, and care delivery. Must have at least 5 years of direct inpatient acute pediatric bedside nursing experience, a BSN or graduate-level nursing degree, a national nursing certification or willingness to obtain within 6 months and strong clinical skills, a proactive mindset, and a passion for mentoring, quality, and safety. Previous leadership or charge nurse experience preferred. Schedule: 2 shifts/week | 10-hour shifts | 3:00 PM – 1:00 AM | Variable weekdays

The Clinical Nurse Attending is a leadership position focused on the clinical management of patients. The Clinical Nurse Attending prepares highly skilled nurses focused on improving quality and safety outcomes for patients or patient populations. The Clinical Nurse Attending assumes accountability for patient-care outcomes through the translation of evidence-based information to design, implement, and evaluate patient-care processes and models of care delivery.
