**Job Description**

Olsson is seeking a driven and detail-oriented individual to join our Construction Materials Testing (CMT) team in Tempe, Arizona. As a CMT Field Technician, you'll be trained to perform geotechnical materials testing, construction observation, and inspections for diverse projects.

In this position, you will play a vital role in supporting the quality and safety of construction projects. Your responsibilities will include collecting and testing material samples from various construction sites, conducting inspections and performing tests using specialized equipment, and adhering to established procedures and industry standards. You will document test results and communicate findings to project managers and other stakeholders to support informed decision-making and ensure structural integrity. This role also involves travel to job sites and working in a variety of terrains and weather conditions.

The ideal candidate has prior experience working outdoors or on construction sites and is eager to learn, grow, and embrace new challenges. A proactive attitude, keen attention to detail, and a strong commitment to continuous improvement are essential for success in this role.

**Qualifications**

**You bring to the team:**

+ 1 to 5 years of construction materials testing experience.

+ Knowledge of Arizona Technical Testing Institute Standards.

+ ATTI Field Technician Certification, preferred.

+ ACI Concrete Field-Testing Technician – Grade I, preferred.

+ Strong communication skills.

+ Ability to contribute and work well on a team.

+ The ability to work in a constant state of alertness and safe manner.

+ High school diploma or GED required.

+ Valid driver's license with a good driving history.

+ Willingness to work a flexible schedule.

+ Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
