**Position Overview:**
The Trouble Desk Clerk is responsible for the day-to-day coordination and communication of reported trouble issues within the Distribution Center. This position serves as a key liaison between DC associates, internal departments, and the New York Trouble Desk. The successful candidate will demonstrate the ability to manage a high volume of email communications, research and resolve issues using internal DC systems, and provide clear, professional responses in a fast-paced environment.
**Key Responsibilities:**
+ Manage daily trouble issues from the Trouble Tracker Report inbox and communicate relevant information to and from the NY Trouble Desk.
+ Provide a high level of consistent internal and external customer service.
+ Respond to calls and emails from a broad range of internal stakeholders regarding merchandise processing concerns.
+ Research and resolve issues using various Ross systems and make updates in RMS as needed.
+ Identify and escalate chronic or recurring issues to the Supervisor, offering detailed context for resolution.
+ Collaborate with departments such as Transportation, IC/QA, Receiving, and Shipping on issues such as misrouted freight and return-to-vendor shipments.
+ Maintain daily workload expectations and provide timely follow-up on aging issues to support department goals.
+ Distribute daily aging reports to the DC and provide guidance on resolving potential trouble to avoid delays.
+ Support the DC with requests such as taking photos, validating overages, and assisting with special projects from Business Solutions leadership.

**Qualifications:**
+ Minimum of 1 year of experience in a distribution center.
+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
+ Ability to type at least 50 words per minute.
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Outlook and Excel.
+ Working knowledge of DC operations and reporting.
+ Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
+ Reliable attendance, a positive attitude, and a professional demeanor.
+ Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects and deadlines.
+ Must successfully complete assessments in email/communication, Word, Excel, and math.
**Physical Requirements:**
+ Ability to work in a warehouse environment on concrete floors for extended periods.
+ Occasional bending, kneeling, reaching, and lifting up to 10 pounds.
+ Regular attendance and punctuality are essential.
+ Must be able to work in an office environment with prolonged computer use, telephone communication, and handling of physical documents.
+ Visual acuity required for reading printed and electronic documents.
**Pay Details:** $20.48 per hour
