Field Service Engineer **Must be open to all shifts**
Job Description
As a Field Service Engineer, you will utilize your electromechanical skills to provide outstanding service to customers by performing installations and troubleshooting on vacuum pumps, abatement, gas, and chemical delivery systems. Your role will help maintain and grow revenue for both service and sales divisions. You will also participate in site safety programs to foster a zero-hazard environment, work professionally to develop strong customer relations, and demonstrate the ability to interpret detailed electrical schematics and mechanical drawings. Adherence to all site fab and Subfab protocol requirements is essential, as is the use of test equipment including various test meters, hand tools, and power tools. Regular and predictable attendance is necessary, along with collaborative teamwork and respect for direction from supervisors.
Responsibilities
+ Provide excellent service to customers using electromechanical skills.
+ Perform installation and troubleshooting on vacuum pumps and related systems.
+ Participate in site safety programs to ensure a zero-hazard environment.
+ Develop and maintain strong customer relations.
+ Understand and interpret detailed electrical schematics and mechanical drawings.
+ Adhere to all site fab and Subfab protocol requirements.
+ Utilize various test equipment including test meters, hand tools, and power tools.
+ Maintain regular and predictable attendance; work cooperatively within a team.
+ Respectfully take direction from supervisors; perform other duties as assigned.
Essential Skills
+ Field service, mechanical, and electrical expertise.
+ Troubleshooting and repair skills.
+ Ability to read schematics and diagrams.
+ Electromechanical experience.
+ 1-3 years of equivalent experience in relevant technical fields.
+ High School Diploma and Associates degree or full military equivalent.

+ Successful completion of Physical Capability assessment required.
+ Clean driving record.
+ Open to 5% domestic travel if needed.
+ Fluency in written and spoken English.
Work Environment
The position is based onsite at Intel Ocotillo, involving physical workload in installing and decommissioning semiconductor tools. The work environment includes wearing a respirator for at least two hours, especially in sub fab/cleanroom settings, and requires steel-toed boots. Expect to walk 9-10 miles a day and be prepared to lift up to 50 lbs. The environment is challenging but rewarding, offering opportunities for growth and development.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $24.00/hr.
