**Job Description**
**Turner & Townsend** is looking for a **Procurement and Supply Chain Manager** to support a large mining & tailings project in Tucson, Arizona. The ideal candidate has excellent communication skills and demonstrates leadership qualities.
Project Specific:
- Projects, Commercial Procurement for Legacy Assets for tailings dam remediation / Earthworks projects.
- 3x a week in Tucson, AZ and 2x a week at jobsite (1.5 hours commute from Phoenix, AZ)
**Responsibilities:**
+ Lead the sourcing, formation and execution of new contracts and manage contract variations compliant with the client level- statutory obligations.
+ Take the lead in facilitating meetings with internal and external stakeholders to foster deeper relationships with all supply chain partners.
+ Monitor performance of work under contract, at both project and portfolio levels, in line with contracted Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
+ Maintain business intelligence of market conditions and external risks and opportunities.
+ Lead and review the documentation and review/ approval process for the execution of variation/ amendment requests for contracts, to meet company guidelines.
+ Review and respond to potential new vendors with suitable responses to business development enquiries.
+ Issues RFx in alignment with sourcing/contracting strategy
+ Escalate contractual issues to relevant stakeholders and coordinate the resolution process including the facilitation and resolution of issues arising from claims, invoicing and rebates.
+ Keep track of supplier capacity, and schedule to meet NPI and mass production need.
+ Develop analytical solutions for data discovery and exploration leading to improvements in Procurement performance.
+ Build advanced analytics models (including predictive, prescriptive, machine learning, simulation, and statistical) to solve complex supply chain problems and to uncover new correlations and interdependencies among supply chain variables.
+ Collaborate with IT and Master Data teams to obtain high-quality data and ensure required datasets are available for discovery and model building.
**Qualifications**
+ 5+ years working experience with ERP systems, preferably SAP.
+ Proven ability to work effectively both independently and in a team based environment.
+ Demonstrated willingness to be flexible and adaptable to changing priorities.
+ Strong multi-tasking and organizational management skills.
+ Experience with establishing tender packages, bid evaluation and award of agreements;
+ Proficient in the MS Office Suite of products, specifically Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project;
+ SAP / GCMS / Procon / Smart Plant experience and experience in a mature Contract Management System (CMS) is preferred.
+ An inquisitive nature and flexibility to work in a team distributed across time zones
+ Proven track record of successful procurement and supply chain oversight
+ Advanced skills with spreadsheets, charts, and presentations.
**Additional Information**
***The salary range for this role is $150k - $170k, depending on candidate's level of experience. This role is not bonus-eligible and requires onsite presence 3 days per week.**
