Link Solutions is seeking a Network Engineer Advisor to join our team in support of the U.S. Army Network Enterprise Technology Command (NETCOM) in Sierra Vista, AZ.
+ Must be a US Citizen
+ Must have an active DoD Security Clearance.
+ Must possess an IAT Level III Certification equivalent or higher per DoD 8570/DoD 8140 (CASP+, CCNP Security, CISA, CISSP, GCED, GCIH, etc.).

The focus of the Network Engineer Advisor will be on leveraging core toolsets to identify device failures, perform root cause analysis, monitor network performance, detect significant trends, conduct deep packet inspection, and utilize network analytics and situational awareness data. This will support the development of automated solutions that enable analysts to quickly correlate data across multiple globally distributed sensors and generate alerts when network behavior deviates from normal patterns, including anomalies in bandwidth utilization.
Additionally, you will support the planning, design, development, engineering, integration, and execution of technical and operational activities across the project.
Job Responsibilities:
+ Design and development of voice, video, radio frequency, and/or data communications networks.
+ Provide detailed activity reports of weekly work in collaboration with your team.
+ Provide planning, design, development, engineering, integration, and technical and operational support to the ADCNOMS project.
+ Provide planning, design, development, engineering, integration, and technical and operational support to the ADCNOMS project.
+ Analyzes customer requirements and provides technical solutions to complex problems.
+ Performs maintenance and upgrades of networks, including servers, routers, switches, firewalls, remote access systems, and networks.
+ Maintains network integrity and connectivity while ensuring compliance with policies and maintains system backup and recovery capability.
+ Coordinates the acquisition of hardware and software, as well as subcontractor services as needed
+ Creates plans and configures systems for data communication networks.
+ Designs and builds hardware and software components for computer or telecommunications networks.
+ Evaluates new communications technologies to enhance the capabilities of the network.
+ Maintains current knowledge of relevant technology as assigned.
+ May serve as a team or task lead.

+ Bachelor’s Degree and ten (10+) years of related experience required. An additional 4 years of experience may be substituted in lieu of a degree.
+ Expertise in networking technologies and security. i.e., IPv4/IPv6, VLAN, VRF/VPN, MPLS, Routing Protocols (such as BGP, OSPF), QoS, NAC/NAP 802.1x, VoIP, Proxy Services, WAN optimizers, SSL accelerators, DHCP controllers, EoIP, Wireless, VTC, Remote access, Performance and Protocol analyzer, Load balancers.
+ Experience in all aspects of network security, both as a self-actualized network engineer and collaborating as a part of a team with trusted, reliable, and talented team members.
+ CCNA or higher (Computing Environment cert) required.
Preferred:
+ Experience working in a Department of Defense (DoD) environment.
+ Ability to function independently and as a team player in a fast-paced environment.
+ Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently.
+ Experience working in a Department of Defense (DoD) environment.
+ Experience providing quality service and support for mission-critical systems and VIP end users.
