**The Role**

Contributes to the evolution of the Lumen Vyvx Broadcast Solutions platform by analyzing requirements, design/test solutions and ultimately deployment into production. Recognized across the organization as a developing subject matter expert on broadcast media technologies and sought as a resource for resolution of unique or complex problems. This position will be focused on the infrastructure, applications and support systems required to operate a large-scale global broadcast media product.

This is a work from home position within the US.

**The Main Responsibilities**

•Experience or understanding of broadcast encoding and resilient media transport concepts in support of both live and linear content delivery.

•Analyze Product and Architecture inputs to develop technical requirements to support design and development efforts.

•Develop solutions and test guidance to satisfy technical requirements that address automation, scalability, performance, and redundancy in a CI/CD environment.

•Develop and execute test plans in support of network element certification and integration activity.

•Define, document, and communicate standards for managing the production Vyvx network.

•Define, document, and communicate up-to-date network designs representative of the production network.

•Ensure alignment of assigned projects with agreed upon Strategic Roadmaps and Target Architectures.

•Provide peer review on architecture and designs developed to support projects not directly assigned to ensure alignment with the overall Vyvx strategic direction.

•Engage in the forward-looking planning and decision-making process to ensure the Vyvx platform is in a continuous improvement cycle to support the business strategy.

**What We Look For in a Candidate**

+ 8+ years’ experience in software development, preferably full stack

+ Expert in Golang, Python

+ Experience in consuming and building APIs

+ Experience in Linux

+ Experience in C++, Elasticsearch, Git, and Angular

+ Familiarity with Sybase, Docker, Kubernetes, ASP.NET, C#, SNMP, XML, HTTP, MS SQL Server

+ Strong written and verbal communication skills

+ Ability to stay organized and keep multiple priorities on target

+ Self-motivated with a consistent drive towards results

+ Be available for an on-call rotation and potential 24/7 support if production issues arise

Bachelors or Equivalent

**Compensation**

This information reflects the anticipated base salary range for this position based on current national data. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. Individual pay is based on skills, experience and other relevant factors.

$103,711 - $138,281 in these states: AL AR AZ FL GA IA ID IN KS KY LA ME MO MS MT ND NE NM OH OK PA SC SD TN UT VT WI WV WY

$108,896 - $145,195 in these states: CO HI MI MN NC NH NV OR RI

$114,082 - $152,109 in these states: AK CA CT DC DE IL MA MD NJ NY TX VA WA
