The anticipated salary range for this role is between $85,000.00 and $170,000.00. The specific salary offered to an applicant will be based on their individual qualification, experiences, and analysis of current compensation paid in their geography and the market for similar roles at time of hire. **SUMMARY:**
The MarTech Engineer plays a pivotal role in managing and optimizing the organization’s marketing and advertising technology stack. This includes integrating platforms such as CRM systems, marketing automation tools (e.g., Braze), Google Marketing Platform tools (e.g., CM360, SA360), social media marketing tools (e.g., Sprinklr), site personalization tools, real-time offer management tools, and customer experience management (CXM) platforms. The role also involves designing and managing site analytics and digital experience platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, Medallia, Google Tag Manager), as well as customer data platforms (CDPs) to support marketing initiatives.
The engineer ensures the seamless operation of these tools to enhance marketing efficiency, campaign execution, and data-driven decision-making. This role combines technical expertise with marketing acumen to drive customer engagement and operational excellence across both online and offline channels.
As a hands-on role, the expectation is that the individual can work independently to design, develop, and deploy the MarTech orchestration layer—using APIs, webhooks, streaming events, or batch processes—to integrate marketing and advertising platforms with our digital channels and data cloud platforms.
**PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:**
+ Tech Stack Management: Evaluate, implement, and maintain marketing technologies (e.g., CRM, CXM, CDP, and customer engagement platforms) across various digital channels—including mobile push notifications, email, in-app messaging, and web notifications—to enable seamless and personalized communication experiences.
+ System Integration: Design and maintain integrations between MarTech tools, APIs, and third-party services (e.g., Braze, Medallia, social media platforms, Google Marketing Platform, etc.).
+ Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Marketing, Product, Engineering, and Data teams to align technology solutions with marketing campaigns and strategic goals.
+ Automation & Workflows: Build and optimize automated workflows (e.g., lead nurturing, customer journeys, real-time offer management) to improve scalability and efficiency.
+ Marketing Automation Support: Design and develop automation solutions for marketing and advertising platforms used by the Marketing and Customer Experience teams.
+ Direct Mail Automation: Support and automate direct mail marketing processes and workflows.
+ Technical Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve issues related to real-time integrations, data flows, tracking, and platform performance.\
+ Compliance & Security: Ensure all digital platforms and solutions comply with data privacy regulations such as GDPR, CCPA, and other relevant standards.
+ Training & Support: Educate Marketing and Product teams on the effective use of MarTech, AdTech, and CX tools, including best practices.
+ Innovation: Research emerging technologies and trends, and recommend innovative solutions for adoption.
+ Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of system configurations, workflows, and integration architecture for MarTech, AdTech, and customer experience management platforms.
**POSITION SPECIFICATIONS:**
+ Education :Bachelors degree in Computer science or equivalent
+ 4+ years of professional software development experience as developer or Software Engineeer or DevOps capacity
+ 3+ years experience in building webservices, API’s ,Webhooks , real-time event processing ,or distributed streaming solutions
+ 3+ years experience working in cloud platforms like GCP , AZURE or similar
+ 3+ years experience in scripting languages like JAVA scripting ,PYTHON or similar
+ 2+ years experience in object oriented programming ( JAVA , C#, C++ or similar)
+ Experience in supporting platform issues & triages in production
+ Knowledge and experience in agile project methodology of execution
+ Experience working with continous integration(CI) and continus delivery (CD) model\
+ Experience working with marketing technology stack /marketing automation tools (ex: Braze , Google Analytics , Google Tag manager, Google Marketing cloud campaign management platforms ,CRM platforms , CXM Content management (CMS) platforms )
+ Experience in Digital Experience platforms that support A/B testing , Multivariate and feature testing for Web & Mobile Apps
+ Experience in marketing offer management platforms , Next Best Action /Next Best Offer solution to support realtime personalized offers thru various digital channels'
+ Experience in executing multi channel marketing campaigns using campaign tools like BRAZE ,or Salesforce marketing cloud , or Adobe Campaign ,or HCL Unica or similar
Preferred Qualifications:
+ Experince working in FinTech /Financial services/Banking industry domain
+ Marketing /Martech- Adtech domain experience a plus
+ Good understanding of digital marketing technologies and platforms
