Our Receive Team is looking for a Software Developer to join the U-Haul family. This person must be ready to immerse themselves in the world of customer self-service. The applications managed by this team are high performance, in high demand and are used by customers across the U.S and Canada.

Developers on this team must strive to provide a simple, easy to understand process that allows any customer to rent our equipment at any time. This system includes both customer-facing web experiences and internal tools to manage the process. If you have a passion for customer service and building a positive customer experience using technology, this is the team for you.

The person in this position must:

+ Have a strong background with these technologies:

+ C#

+ .NET Framework

+ .NET Core

+ ASP .NET MVC

+ SQL

+ JavaScript

+ Preferably possess knowledge of these technologies:

+ jQuery

+ Kafka

+ Redis

+ Possess strong communication skills

+ Understand Agile and Scrum methodologies

+ Communicate complex technical problems in a manner non-technical people can understand

+ Coordinate with QA, Ops and other Development Teams effectively.

+ Must be a U.S. citizen or have proof of U.S. employment authorization for this position.

Education Requirements:

Bachelors or higher degree in Computer Science, Engineering or Technology. OR at least years of experience in Software Development.
