**About this role:**

Wells Fargo is seeking Senior Credit Risk Specialist to provide credit risk oversight for large credit Merchant Services portfolio.

**In this role, you will:**

+ Operate within an Independent Risk Management (IRM) framework and will provide senior management with an independent perspective of the level of risk to which the business is exposed across all risk types

+ Work collaboratively across the Business and Independent Risk Management

+ Regularly present to senior management in Consumer Lending and Risk Management on the risk position of the Merchant Services large credit portfolio

+ Assists in identifying material, aggregate and emerging risks

+ Identify and escalate risk and control issues to the Head of Risk Strategy and Portfolio Oversight Team in a timely manner and in accordance with company policies and procedures

+ As applicable Identify and drive opportunities to increase effectiveness and efficiency through use of internal customer data, risk analytics, risk modeling and automation

+ Promote a strong risk management culture and discipline throughout Merchant Services

+ Demonstrate and sponsor appropriate risk management and leadership behaviors in support of doing what is right for our clients, people as a competitive advantage and ethics

+ Advise Merchant Services leadership regarding appropriate operations policies and processes leveraging risk management metrics/business scorecard, track performance and monitor trends across the business

+ Oversee and actively manage risks within the approved risk appetite and oversee the continued refinement and/or development of appropriate controls

+ Regularly present to senior management in Consumer Lending, and Risk Management

+ Support credit policy change management process and act as a subject matter expert for Merchant Services policies and procedures

**Required Qualifications:**

+ 4+ years of Credit Risk experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

**Desired Qualifications:**

+ Merchant underwriting experience highly desired

+ Commercial credit underwriting experience or audit experience

+ Knowledge of treasury products (payments or merchant services)

**Pay Range**

Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, experience, or work location. The range listed is just one component of the compensation package offered to candidates.

$84,000.00 - $149,400.00
