**About this role:**
The Enterprise Functions Technology (EFT) is looking for a Lead Systems Operations Engineer. The EFT group provides technology solutions and support for Risk, Audit, Finance, Marketing, Human Resources, Corporate Properties, and Stakeholder Relations business lines. In addition, EFT provides unique technology solutions and innovation for Wells Fargo Technology, Enterprise Shared Services, and Enterprise Data Management. To be successful in this strategic and technical role, you must be comfortable working with engineering teams, product teams and key business partners. You will be driving continuous process improvement and simplification, enabling the team to succeed in the highly dynamic world of technology infrastructure operations, while removing obstacles. You will drive our efforts to identify key initiatives and investment areas, support the short-term and future strategy in alignment with Wells Fargo’s mission and values, and track execution and operations across the organization. In this role you will also seek out opportunities to fine tune and redefine our processes, as well as demonstrate leadership and expertise in understanding the underlying user experience issues and technology of our systems. The role will evolve as business needs change but will start out covering below functional areas as key responsibilities.
**In this role, you will:**
+ Lead complex, broad impact initiatives including provision of high level systems consultation for the technology teams
+ Work as key participant in large scale planning of computer systems and network infrastructure for Systems Operations functional area
+ Review and analyze complex technical challenges, as well as escalated support issues related to core business solutions that require in depth evaluation of multiple factors, such as alternatives, enhancements, periodic systems reviews, or improvements to existing systems
+ Make decisions on technical changes and enhancements
+ Consult with engineering team on change design requiring solid understanding of technical process controls or standards that influence and drive new initiatives
+ Collaborate and consult with technical peers, colleagues, and mid to more experienced level managers to resolve systems support issues and achieve goals
**Required Qualifications:**
+ 5+ years of Systems Engineering, Technology Architecture experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
+ 5+ years of experience in application production support
+ 5+ years of experience in IT infrastructure product and service control management; policies and standards, business readiness, exceptions management or alignment to the enterprise compliance and risk management accountabilities
+ 5+ years of experience working with SQL Server, Oracle or MySQL, Unix, Autosys, ITRS, App Dynamics
**Desired Qualifications:**
+ Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
+ Knowledge and understanding of test-driven application development
+ Experience designing and developing learning for complex technology systems and processes including Agile development methodology environments
+ Experience designing, developing, and implementing large scale, complex software applications
+ Outstanding problem solving and decision making skills
+ Solid critical thinking skills
+ Experience with financial accounting tools is a plus
+ An industry-standard technology certification

**Pay Range**
Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, experience, or work location. The range listed is just one component of the compensation package offered to candidates.
$96,600.00 - $188,900.00
