Description

We are looking for an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to assist our client in Scottsdale, Arizona. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our accounts payable processes.

Responsibilities:

• Process and review a high volume of invoices, ensuring all payments are accurate and timely.

• Perform three-way matching of invoices, purchase orders, and receipts to maintain compliance with internal policies.

• Manage vendor statements, resolving discrepancies and maintaining strong communication with vendors.

• Address invoice backlogs by processing 50-60 invoices daily while maintaining high attention to detail.

• Ensure proper account coding and adherence to accounting standards within the ERP system.

• Collaborate with internal teams to clarify and resolve payment-related issues.

• Utilize accounting software systems such as ADP, Concur, and NetSuite to streamline workflows.

• Assist in transitioning accounts payable systems and processes as required.

• Conduct audits and reconciliations to ensure data accuracy and completeness.

• Handle Automated Clearing House (ACH) transactions efficiently and securely.

Requirements • Proven experience in accounts payable, including invoice processing and vendor management.

• Familiarity with ERP systems and accounting software such as NetSuite, ADP, and Concur.

• Strong understanding of three-way matching processes and accrual accounting principles.

• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in handling financial data.

• Ability to process high volumes of invoices while maintaining quality standards.

• Effective communication skills for interacting with vendors and internal teams.

• Basic auditing experience to ensure compliance and accuracy.

• Knowledge of automated payment systems like ACH is preferred.
