As a Quality Engineer III here at Honeywell, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our products through effective quality engineering practices. You will be responsible for developing and implementing quality control systems, conducting inspections, and analyzing quality data to identify areas for improvement. Your expertise in quality methodologies and tools will be instrumental in maintaining the highest standards of quality.

In this role, you will impact the success of our engineering teams by collaborating with cross-functional teams to define quality requirements and specifications. By monitoring and analyzing quality metrics, you will identify areas for improvement and drive continuous enhancements to our products. Your technical guidance and support will empower your team members to excel in their roles.

1. Responsible for Technical Regulatory compliance & quality compliance of Honeywell products in META region.

2. Generating & Updating certification country work instructions according to latest regulations for META region

3. New products certifications issuance through Honeywell legal entities or Notified bodies

4. Renewal of existing product certificates.

5. Supporting Honeywell partners in META in obtaining certificate of compliance of Honeywell products

6. Maintaining Local & Global quality database updated.

7. Maintaining a pool of technical agencies for Honeywell certification projects.

8. Provide regulatory compliance requirements for countries in META region

9. Prepare and maintain certification matrix master file.

10. Coordinates with other departments to obtain all required information to obtain authority approvals.

11. Focal point for the regulatory compliance agencies and coordination of their visits for inspections / surveillance in conjunction with Inspection & quality team.

12. Coordinates with Customers, Sales team, CX, logistics, and Authorities.

13. Maintain logs and information required for regulatory compliance.

14. Provide inputs to business team and subcontractors on regulatory compliance requirements.

15. Reviews documents from business in relation to authority requirements.

16. Issue MR & Scope of work for engaging Third parties related to certifications.

17. Follow up on the certification work & coordinate with all parties involved.

18. Keeps informed regarding latest developments in authority requirements

19. Prepare management presentations and communication on regulatory developments and potential challenges to management and affected business areas.

+ Internal and Supplier audit experience

+ Previous Quality Engineering experience

+ Demonstrated ability to learn either by on job development or formal education

+ Good communication skills with all stakeholders involved in the role.

+ Experience communicating with Clients and Certified bodies.

+ Flexible coordinator

+ Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
