Our client, a leading technology solutions provider, is seeking a Redhat / Linux System Administrator to join their team. As a Redhat / Linux System Administrator, you will be part of the IT Operations supporting critical infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, excellent troubleshooting abilities, and a proactive mindset which will align successfully in the organization.

**Job Title:** Redhat / Linux System Administrator

**Location:** Chandler, AZ or Richmond, VA

**What's the Job?**

+ Perform triage of business impacted incidents and restore incidents to meet service level agreements.

+ Provide 24x7 operations support, including scheduled activities and escalation of critical issues.

+ Manage and support a large global environment consisting of 55,000 or more Linux virtual servers.

+ Document lessons learned in a wiki format to enhance team knowledge.

+ Understand and follow the ITIL incident/change/problem management processes.

**What's Needed?**

+ 8+ years of hands-on experience supporting Red Hat Linux (6/7/8/9).

+ Experience with HP and Dell x86 hardware platforms.

+ Strong troubleshooting skills to work with different technology partners.

+ Familiarity with SAN/NAS technology and server-side issue support.

+ Understanding of TCP/IP and ability to troubleshoot latency or performance issues.
