As an Advanced R&D Engineer/Scientist here at Honeywell, you will be at the forefront of innovation, driving the development of cutting-edge technologies and solutions. Key Responsibilities

+ Provide technical expertise in the design, development, and testing of innovative solutions

+ Mentor and guide a team of R&D engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence

+ Drive innovation by identifying new technologies and methodologies

+ Conduct research to generate intellectual property (IP) and contribute to patent applications

+ Evaluate emerging technologies for applicability to projects

+ Conduct technology assessments to inform decisionmaking

+ Support technology transfer from R&D to manufacturing

+ Identify and assess technical and projectrelated risks

+ Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies

YOU MUST HAVE

+ 5+ years of experience performing research and development projects within a technology or manufacturing environment

+ Strong background in areas such as materials science, electronics, sensors, controls, or related fields

+ Proven track record of technical leadership and project management

+ Bachelor’s degree or Advanced degree in Chemistry, Engineering, Physics, or another related field

+ Solid understanding of software development best practices, design patterns, and architecture principles
