We are seeking an experienced Process Engineer for the role of _Principal Gas Technical Sales Engineer for Gas Technologies_ , within UOP Process Technologies (UPT).

This role to lead the development of comprehensive Technical Proposals for UOP’s Gas Technologies with focus on UOP’s adsorbents, solvents, and membrane technologies.

The successful candidate will be responsible for collaborating with various engineering, sales, R&D, and business groups to develop a winning technical solution proposal in line with the project requirements.

**Key Responsibilities:**

**Sales Support:** Support Sales team to develop competitive Techno-Commercial proposals. Lead proposal development, solution positioning, clarification meetings, and technology updates.

**Proposal Strategies:** Work with Sales to develop and implement proposal strategies to differentiate our solutions to address project specific needs including process optimization, process integration, project economics improvement.

**Subject Mater Expertise:** Demonstrate technical expertise in gas system design and knowledge. Participate in customer discussions to provide technical sales support and develop an understanding of the customer’s needs and expectations.

**Thought Leadership:** Develop and share thought leadership content, such as whitepapers, articles, and presentations, to position our company as a leader in the industry.

**Product Development and Portfolio Expansion:** Support product development initiatives with Business, R&D, and Engineering to enable continued differentiation of Honeywell gas offerings.

**Tools and Infrastructure Development:** Lead the ideation and development of simulation and estimation tools to streamline TSE work process and improve tool functionality and reliability. Develop and implement systems and processes to standardize design protocols.

**Competitive Landscape Evaluation:** Collect customer intelligence on regional market trends, competitor strategies, and products. Provide information to Sales, Business, and Offering Managers for subsequent analysis. Maintain a thorough knowledge of UOP solutions and value propositions.

**Qualifications:**

+ 15+ years of experience in the industry, with a deep understanding of its trends, challenges, and opportunities.

+ Advanced degree in Chemical Engineering valued.

+ Strong technical background in Gas Technologies with focus on Adsorbents, and Solvents and Membrane Technologies.

+ Experienced in simulation tools/software.

+ Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical information to non-technical audiences.

+ Experienced in technical writing and preparation of proposals.

+ Ability to travel up to 20%.
