The Electro-Mechanical Assembler assembles basic noncomplex electromechanical assemblies and assists in material handling. The individual works with the Manufacturing Division and Shipping/Receiving to ensure product is produced on time and according to specification.
Candidates must be local. The company is not sponsoring visas for this role.
JOB DUTIES:
+ Assembly of noncomplex electromechanical products per the documentation provided while being both productive, quality minded and safety conscience.
+ Assist in shipping and receiving activities which include validation of incoming parts and material as well as properly packaging outgoing products for safe delivery to the end customer.
+ Communicate with direct supervisor any discrepancies or issues with parts, material, documentation or equipment.
+ Other Duties as assigned.
SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, EDUCATION, & QUALIFICATIONS:
+ The ability to read and write English.
+ Basic Computer Skills - able to navigate Drives/Folders/Files
+ Basic understanding of Microsoft Software (Word/Excel)
+ The ability to read and follow assembly documentation typically presented with step-by-step operations with accompanying images.
+ Ability to identify and properly use basic hand tools.
+ Ability to identify common hardware and fasteners and the proper tools needed for each.
+ Good verbal and written communication skills
+ High school diploma or GED
+ Some manufacturing assembly experience preferred.
WORKING CONDITIONS & PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
The job is performed indoors in a climate-controlled manufacturing facility. Noise levels are typically within a safe level; however, some temporary activities may require the use of ear protection. Some activities will require the use of eye protection. Safety shoes are not required but encouraged. Travel is not expected in this position.
